As always, the music on Easter Sunday will be beautiful and uplifting. My message will of course be centered on the central truth of the Christian faith: the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. There will be new friends to welcome to our fellowship because it seems that every year more visitors come to church on Easter than in any other season.
So I hope you will invite neighbors, co-workers and family members to join you for the celebration at Metropolitan. If we invite them, they will come!
Our Women’s Ministry Council is providing a beautiful welcome reception in the Family Life Center gymnasium during the 9:45-10:45 a.m. hour. Instead of going to Sunday School, everyone is invited to the gym for the food and friendship. This will give us a perfect opportunity to welcome newcomers and to help them feel at home here at Metropolitan. We’ll want to greet old friends, too!
“Surely This Was the Son of God” will be the theme on Easter morning. Dr. Bill Green is preparing our choir, orchestra, and praise team to lead us in glorious worship and praise of our Savior. The music and the message will be the same in each of the worship services – 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Be in your place and invite a friend to come with you on Easter Sunday at Metropolitan.
