Dr. Tom Phillips has been involved with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association since 1974. He has served in follow-up and counseling, BGEA schools of evangelism, and as director for events and crusades in various parts of the world.
As a vice-president of the Association, he now directs the famous Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, NC. He is the author of five books and numerous articles and book chapters. He has been featured in several videos – all of which promote the New Testament priority of spreading the message of Jesus Christ throughout America and around the world.
He serves on numerous boards and committees. He is in demand as a speaker for conferences, churches, and Christian colleges and seminaries.
Dr. Phillips will be the speaker for our Spring Bible Conference, Sunday, April 12. He will speak in our morning services on the theme: “Evangelism for Today,” a study of Luke 10:1-12. In the 6:00 p.m. service his topic will be: “Revival – Resetting Society,” based on Psalm 24.
It is fitting that Dr. Tom Phillips come to MBC at this time. We are emphasizing our church’s participation in the Good News Festival at Chesapeake Arena, August 22-23 of this year. Billy Graham’s son, Franklin Graham, will be the speaker. We are asking God to bless this witness to our city. Tom Phillips’s messages will help us see how God can use us to help spread the gospel.
