Free Movies

For years some of my friends and I have hosted a monthly family-friendly movie night at the church. We call it “Movies at the Met.” Get it … Met, Metropolitan … Anyway, I admit that it is technically a singles ministry effort, so many of you may not have realized you were invited. But, we have ALWAYS invited the church family and have wanted it to be something where young and older, single and married, kids and grown-ups could enjoy each other.

Straw Hat Camp

Another great year of Straw Hat Camp has come to a close for our 2nd – 5th grade kids. There was hiking and lots of great food. We took on the challenge of the low and high ropes courses; we soared down the zip line at amazing speeds.
