Singin' in the Rain

Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, and Debbie Reynolds star in this classic musical from 1952, Singin’ in the Rain. The plot tells of a silent film production company and their cast making the difficult transition to sound. “Movies at the Met” will be held Friday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m.

King of the Jungle

Children’s choirs are excited about King of the Jungle, our musical for this spring. Subtitled The God of Creation Is Lord of My Heart, it includes songs such as:  Bullfrogs and Butterflies, Noah’s Ark, The Lion’s Den, and a lovely setting of Psalm 23, The Lord Is My Shepherd. Composer Celeste Clydesdale wrote: “…I’m a real animal lover, and I’ve always been drawn to all the Scripture verses where God used animals to teach Biblical truths.

Pastor Paul & Margaret to Russia

Pastor Paul and Margaret Purifoy will be joining with some 200 other Oklahomans traveling to Sochi, Russia, February 4-14. These Singing Men of Oklahoma will perform in several venues throughout Moscow and attend some of the Olympic events in Sochi. Margaret and the other wives going as part of the trip will be an integral part of these activities as well. Women's Ministry Council

There will be a Women’s Ministry Council meeting on Monday, January 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All are encouraged to attend as we pray and plan for Outreach, Hospitality, our annual Spring Fling, and the February Ladies’ Night.
