Some exciting and important events are happening at Metropolitan to celebrate Christmas. Sunday, December 15, at 6:00 p.m.  – “A Metropolitan Christmas” followed by our annual Christmas Sampler held in the FLC Gymnasium. Childcare will be provided birth through 3 years old.

Okay, You've Gotta Come to This One

We have the best time of fellowship while we watch classic movies on the first Friday of each month: “Movies at the Met.” The movie on December 6 will be a true Christmas classic: “A Christmas Carol.” This 1951 version – about an old bitter miser who is given a chance for redemption when he is haunted by ghosts on Christmas Eve – is arguably the best version of this Charles Dickens classic. We had a great time praising God together at the recent lunch for singles on November 10. We enjoyed turkey, dressing and a lot of other really good food. But the best part was just being together, sharing what God has done for us and giving Him glory for it.

Pray for Our College Students

Finals’ week is just around the corner, and this year we will be sending encouraging notes and gift cards to our college students, to give them a little boost amidst all of the pressure. Our goal is not only to encourage them, but to build connections back to Metropolitan when they are home or visiting. […]
