Friends Lunch & Hermit Basin

September 11 is a significant day in the life of our country. People across our nation will be observing this day as they remember so many who lost their lives. Metropolitan’s Friends Group will be no exception as they meet on this Wednesday for their monthly lunch at 11:30 a.m.

It's Almost Time to Plant the Fall Crops!

Whiz Kids needs more farmers from our church family. 1 Corinthians 3:4 tells us that “(Paul) planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.” Is God calling you to help plow by giving of your finances for books and supplies? Maybe He’s asking you to sow seeds in the life of one child by being a tutor.

Son Light Preschool

Metropolitan is home to Son Light Preschool. For many, many years we have used this two-day per week learning center to partner with families in training children and providing quality child care within a Christian context for our church family and community. We love to introduce children to the Lord Jesus and plant seeds of God’s Word in their hearts and minds.

Happening on Sunday

Those children and youth entering Kindergarten through 12th Grade should go to their new classes this Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Parents of K-5th Graders may drop them off at their classroom in the Main Building.
