Neighborhood Outreach Follow-Up

Sunday, May 19, 2013 was a busy day for the wonderful family of Metropolitan. High School Seniors were duly honored and recognized for their accomplishment. The precious ceremony of children being dedicated to the Lord by their parents was a sobering reminder of how “Senior Recognition” begins many years before.

Speakers in June

During the month of June several guest speakers will share from the pulpit in our morning worship services. Each one will exhort us in our daily walk with Christ and in reaching others with the gospel. Our Summer Missions Day is June 9.

Super 10 Club

Super Ten is coming! Children who have finished first through completion of the 5th grade are invited to come and learn what God’s Word has to say to us. We’ll study Titus 2:1-15 together, enjoy cool summer treats, and play fun games each week.

New Study on Book of Daniel

The book of Daniel consists of twelve chapters that tell the story of Daniel and three of his friends who are Babylonian captives. The remainder of the book shares three visions and their interpretation as revealed to Daniel. This book is valuable for several reasons.

New DivorceCare Class to Begin

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when people feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues they’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help participants face these challenges and move toward rebuilding their lives.

Summer Missions Day

This is a gentle “nudge” in the right direction, helping us to remember our commitment to give and to pray in support of world missions.
